Kristal Hansley is the Founder & & CEO of WeSolar, Inc and is the countrys very first Black female CEO in the community solar industry. What inspired you to start your company?
The stark reality that the majority of homes who were receiving eco-friendly energy rewards were greater income. I had my own ideas on how to solve it, and I wished to have agency over my own decisions. I was at a neighborhood meeting with 50 Black ladies organizers who were not bought the neighborhood solar motion. What difficulties do you deal with? Why?
