First M1 iMac pre-orders begin shipping for May 21 delivery

The very first M1 iMac orders are now delivering to clients. The brand new iMac went up for pre-order just under two weeks back, and the first orders are scheduled to get here as early as Friday, May 21.

9to5Mac reader Jean-Francis Roy says that his iMac delivered ahead of schedule and will show up on May 21. Apple had actually at first quoted Roy a delivery date of May 25 through June 2, however the company appears to have adequate supply to beat those price quotes depending upon your setup.
We have not yet seen any reports of pre-orders for the M1 iPad Pro or new Apple TV 4K shipping, though some are currently noted as “preparing for shipment.” Personally, my M1 iMac and M1 iPad Pro pre-orders have not delivered, and just the latter item is presently listed as “getting ready for delivery.”
How to track your M1 iMac
While it appears that Apple is upgrading the status to “shipped” when an M1 iMac order is delivered, unlike what it makes with iPhone pre-orders, you can likewise head to the UPS site to track the development of your order.
To do so, either register in the UPS My Choice platform or utilize the “Track by Reference Number” feature. The referral number is likely the contact number listed on your Apple order or your order number without the last two digits.
