Nomad Announces ‘Rugged Keychain’ for AirTag, Includes Add-On Engraving Option for Pet ID Tags

Wanderer today revealed a brand-new accessory for Apples AirTag, called the Rugged Keychain, which begins shipping in August and costs $29.95 to pre-order ($39.95 routine). Similar to other keychain devices, Nomads Rugged Keychain secures the AirTag in a polycarbonate shell that can be attached to secrets, bags, and– in Nomads recommendations– pet collars.
The Rugged Keychain includes 2 enclosure alternatives: an IP67 water resistant back and a speaker-hole back. Nomad is also consisting of an optional add-on function that lets you inscribe your animals name and your phone number onto a stainless steel insert, turning the AirTag and Rugged Keychain into a Pet ID tag.
While an AirTag can be used to track an animal, Apple VP of around the world iPhone product marketing, Kaiann Drance, has actually reminded users that the AirTag was built to find inanimate items and not pets or kids. When asked about this, Drance said, “If individuals do that, they simply need to ensure that their moving pet enters series of a gadget in the Find My network” so its area can be tracked.
Wanderer already sells a couple of AirTag devices, consisting of a Leather Loop and Leather Keychain at $19.95 and $29.95 respectively. You can also buy a Glasses Strap for AirTag on Nomad for $29.95, which connects to any set of sunglasses or glasses.
You can pre-order the accessory today in White or black on Nomads site for $29.95 if youre interested in the brand-new Rugged Keychain. Wanderer will start delivering the Rugged Keychain to consumers in August.
