Nomad Announces ‘Rugged Keychain’ for AirTag, Includes Add-On Engraving Option for Pet ID Tags

1% OffWanderer today announced a new device for Apples AirTag, called the Rugged Keychain, which starts shipping in August and costs $29.95 to pre-order ($39.95 routine). Comparable to other keychain devices, Nomads Rugged Keychain safeguards the AirTag in a polycarbonate shell that can be connected to secrets, bags, and– in Nomads advice– pet collars.
The Rugged Keychain includes two enclosure choices: an IP67 water resistant back and a speaker-hole back. Wanderer is also consisting of an optional add-on feature that lets you etch your family pets name and your telephone number onto a stainless steel insert, turning the AirTag and Rugged Keychain into a Pet ID tag.
While an AirTag can be utilized to track an animal, Apple VP of worldwide iPhone product marketing, Kaiann Drance, has advised users that the AirTag was built to find inanimate items and not kids or animals. When asked about this, Drance said, “If individuals do that, they just have to ensure that their moving animal enters range of a device in the Find My network” so its area can be tracked.
Nomad currently sells a few AirTag accessories, including a Leather Loop and Leather Keychain at $19.95 and $29.95 respectively. You can likewise purchase a Glasses Strap for AirTag on Nomad for $29.95, which connects to any pair of sunglasses or glasses.
You can pre-order the accessory today in White or black on Nomads site for $29.95 if youre interested in the new Rugged Keychain. Nomad will begin shipping the Rugged Keychain to customers in August.
