Crash Bandicoot: On the Run gets its first big update on iOS

Back in the day, it took more than a year– from September 1996 to October 1997– for fans of Crash Bandicoot to get a 2nd dosage of action with the games sequel.
Jump forward to 2021 and fans of Crash Bandicoot: On the Run who have actually finished the game, launched on iOS in March, can already get a second fix of Crash action courtesy of the titles first big update.

Aside from this change, however, Ive up until now found that Crash Bandicoot: On the Run feels refreshingly comparable to the Crash games I invested hours playing in the 1990s.
Updates like this new one suggest that developer King is eager to keep Crash Bandicoot: On the Run fresh. That formula worked extremely well for Mario Kart Tour, which continues to make cash long after its preliminary release.

Rather clumsily titled Crash Bandicoot: On the Run Season 2: Running Outta Time, this upgrade brings a new Dino Might survival run, brand-new bosses, extra skins and more. Heres what the release keeps in mind pledge:

90s icon turns limitless runner
Crash Bandicoot isnt the very first timeless video game mascot to be reimagined as an unlimited runner for mobile. Nintendos Super Mario Run revealed and laid the groundwork that this is an excellent way of equating console faves to the smaller sized screens of mobile phones.
