In 2021, we have reintroduced ourselves to the world– no longer as an energy service business, but as eco-friendly energy developers with the hope of owning and operating utility-scale sustainable energy projects.
Lyssy Energy Enterprises is an ingenious, privately held, utility-scale designer of solar, wind and battery energy services. Lyssy Energy thinks that by releasing wind, solar and battery storage, we can optimize our efforts and offer all kinds of sustainable energy solutions. Lyssy Energy is working with poor communities in rural locations, and we hope to make a distinction by bringing sustainable energy jobs to areas with high rates of poverty and other susceptible communities. It is essential for the energy shift to not only change how we produce energy, but to bring the disenfranchised to the center of this technological advancement so everyone shares the benefits.

Today, we are featuring Lyssy Energy Enterprises, a utility-scale sustainable energy developer in Texas. The following is a Q&A with Lyssy Energy Co-Founder and COO Katie Garza and Constance Thompson, ACOREs Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Programs.
What inspired you to start Lyssy Energy?
Lyssy Energy Enterprises all started with a favor to my daddy. He asked me to put together an energy lease that would protect his land for ranching and farming while providing an additional source of earnings.
A couple years later on, we began partnering with renewable energy designers. We used 2020 to rebrand Lyssy Energy into the business we had actually always dreamed about. Lyssy Energy Enterprises is an innovative, privately held, utility-scale designer of solar, wind and battery energy options. Our prime directive is to contribute to the velocity of the energy markets transition to sustainable energy. Lyssy Energy thinks that by deploying wind, solar and battery storage, we can maximize our efforts and offer all kinds of eco-friendly energy options.
What difficulties do you face? Why?
Capital is among the greatest challenges we face at the moment. The sun and the wind supply electrical power, but capital is what moves everything and everybody else. We require capital for daily operations, and to develop, construct and run our projects.
Protecting development capital early is important in offering land control and affiliation research studies to get projects off the ground. We are working hard to develop relationships with large investment firms that have a strong interest in renewables and can provide the capital needed to develop a successful eco-friendly energy task.

Lyssy Energy Enterprises is open to collaborations or joint endeavors. How are you making an effect through Lyssy Energy?
Lyssy Energy Enterprises strives to continue developing a diverse business. Females and individuals of color are essential to our success, and it is necessary to promote their development to positions of management and leadership.
Lyssy Energy is working with poor neighborhoods in rural locations, and we hope to make a difference by bringing renewable energy jobs to areas with high rates of hardship and other vulnerable communities. It is important for the energy shift to not only change how we produce energy, however to bring the disenfranchised to the center of this technological development so everybody shares the advantages.
