What inspired you to start Lyssy Energy?
Lyssy Energy Enterprises all started with a favor to my father. He asked me to put together an energy lease that would protect his land for ranching and farming while offering an extra source of income.
A couple years later, we started partnering with renewable resource developers. There were definitely drawbacks and difficulties, closed doors and unequal collaborations, but we used this time to truly sharpen our craft. If we desired our company to grow and succeed then we would need to take a risk, we realized that. In 2020, when the world was required to decrease due to the pandemic, we chose to take that risk. We used 2020 to rebrand Lyssy Energy into the company we had always dreamed about.
